A court in the United States blocked the decision of the authorities to ban the download of TikTok


The entry into force of the decision of the American administration to remove the Chinese application TikTok from online stores temporarily blocked the court in the United States. This was reported on September 28 by Reuters. The decision of the White House administration to ban the download of TikTok was supposed to enter into force at 23:59 local time (06:59 Moscow time on September 28). Under the terms of the ban, Google Play and the App Store had to remove the application from their stores. It is noted that the court decision is temporary. In turn, John E. Hall, a lawyer for ByteDance, the owner of TikTok, called the decision to ban the application irrational. According to Hall, it makes no sense to prohibit downloading the application during negotiations on the acquisition of the American segment of the TikTok. Earlier, the news agency reported that the owner of the TikTok appealed to the US court with a request to temporarily block the decision of the White House to remove the TikTok application from Google and Apple app stores.
