In Ukraine, more than 1.3 thousand cases of coronavirus infection were detected per day


Over the past day, 1318 new cases of coronavirus infection were identified in Ukraine. This was announced on August 6 by a special resource of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine. According to the resource, over the day, 31 people died from the consequences caused by coronavirus pneumonia, 997 patients recovered. In total, 76,808 cases of infection were confirmed during the pandemic in Ukraine, 1,819 people died, and 42,524 recovered. According to Timofey Milovanov, director of the Kiev School of Economics, from August 11, 2020, quarantine measures can be strengthened in the Rivne, Kharkov, Khmelnitsky and Chernihiv regions of Ukraine. Note that in Ukraine, for the second day in a row, the daily anti-record is updated for the number of detected cases of infection.
