India plans to additionally strengthen its military group on the border with China with 35 thousand soldiers, the Mint newspaper reported on July 29, citing unnamed sources in the military sphere. According to the publication, at the moment, Indian-Chinese agreements on normalizing the situation in the border zone are not being implemented. Allegedly, this is what caused the decision to strengthen the military group near the Chinese border. Earlier, The Hindu newspaper, also citing anonymous sources, reported that China in the border region of East Ladakh withdrew troops only partially. According to the news agency, earlier India and China officially announced the process of agreeing a divorce of forces on the line of actual control at the border.
