War: Pskezhina 1941-1945 Radio REGNUM

The Pskakina was one of the first to take the blow of the enemy. In the first days of the war, 15,000 people were called into service. In total during the years of war about 200 thousand natives of the Pskov land fought with fascists. Pskov in Hitler's plans was the key to Leningrad's front doors. Pskov and the territory of the modern Pskov region were captured by the enemy. For three years the region was under brutal occupation.
