In Latvia, the price of electricity decreases for the third month in a row
For the third month in a row in Latvia the price per megawatt-hour of electricity (MWh) decreases. This is written by the Nra portal. Lv with reference to the data provided by the Public Price Regulation Commission (SPRK). According to SPRK, in April the price per megawatt-hour was 23.52 euros, which is 2% cheaper than in March 2020, and 16% cheaper than in February, when the price drop was the biggest. It is noted that purchase prices for electricity in the Baltics are set during exchange trades on Nord Pool. The lowest price of this month was set on April 12 and was 4.25 euros per megawatt hour.
