Nine cases were identified in New Zealand in 24 hours COVID-19


The Ministry of Health of New Zealand confirmed nine more cases of coronavirus infection for April 18, the press service of the department reports. The total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country is 1,431. Currently, there are 18 people in hospitals in the country, three of whom are connected to artificial lung ventilation devices. The New Zealand Ministry of Health notes that out of 131 health workers in contact with COVID-19 patients, about half of them were infected with SARS- CoV -2 coronavirus. A total of 83,224 tests were carried out in the country to detect the infection.
