Enterprises of Turkmenistan traded with foreign businessmen for $34.7 million


Over the past week, local enterprises have concluded 68 contracts with foreign businessmen in the amount of $34 million 745 thousand (2 billion 569 million rubles) on the commodity exchange of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen media reported. Entrepreneurs from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Afghanistan, Turkey, Switzerland, UAE and Malta took part in the bidding. They agreed with Turkmen producers to purchase gasoline, diesel fuel, base oil, polypropylene, textile products, carpets and cotton yarn. On the domestic market local merchants purchased polyethylene, polypropylene, plastic pallets, cotton fibre and carpets for a total amount of more than 35 million 149 thousand manats (743.6 million rubles).
