30% of businessmen in the Baltics noted a fall in demand for goods - survey


More than 30% of representatives of companies surveyed in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia by experts of the German-Baltic Chamber of Commerce (AHK) noted a drop in demand for their goods and services. This is written by the portal Dienas Business. Representatives of the German-Baltic Chamber of Commerce interviewed only 450 entrepreneurs in the Baltics about the impact of the spread of coronavirus on their business. However, 44% of respondents noted that so far it is premature to talk about the consequences COVID-19 influence. 20% of Latvian companies stated that the epidemic did not affect their activities. In Lithuania such entrepreneurs 9.4%, in Estonia 5.7%. More than half of the merchants surveyed described the cancellation of travel and public events. Only 8% of Latvian businessmen believe that coronavirus will affect the execution of the budget-2020. In Lithuania and Estonia, there are 20% more.
